Resolution

Did you start 2017 with ambition & goals & resolutions only to be ringing in 2018 realizing that you half-assed, sort-of, not at all met these goals& resolutions? SAME! Well kind of. I didn't even set any! I am writing this blog to keep my self accountable- if anyone would like to join me in this 2018 journey, follow along!

A little about me:
I'm 26, married with one babe and one fur babe. I had my first in March 2017 and it was all but what I had planned. I laboured for 12 hours before an emergency c-section had to take place. I don't feel as though I missed out on anything as I brought a beautiful, healthy 9lb baby into the world. After having the c- section I found it very easy to find any excuse to sit on my butt- I mean for the first 6 weeks I wasn't allowed to do much else... well fast forward 6 months and I was barely doing anything for myself- I had fallen into the new mom trap of paying all of my attention and free time on my babe- I mean they're so cute- but I realized that I still needed to spend time on ME! I decided to do the 21 day fix extreme (of course why start easy) because it just wants feasible to get to the gym anymore- and I could do these in my home while the little one slept (double win!)!  I did one round of the 21 day workouts and LOVED them, started loosing weight and looking better but then of course life got in the way and I convinced my self that walking the dog and the stroller was enough of a work out- WRONG. Walking got me outdoors and exercise, yes, but it just didn't get my heart rate up the way a workout would- plus I wasn't paying as close attention to my eating as I should have been- using breastfeeding as an excuse of course. Fast forward to the last week of 2017- the creator of the 21 day workouts has created a new 80 day (yup 80!) workout series focusing on the Arms, Abs and booty- what woman doesn't want to focus on those three things?! So of course I'm jumping in, 100% and am loving the sneak peeks into these work outs! January 15th 2018 is the official launch of the series and I can't wait!

2018 will be the year that I focus on myself and my habits!
